Helping LA fire victims in the racquet sports teaching community
Together with LA TENNIS
Good Monday morning, everyone.
This month, nothing is more important than helping some of the thousands of victims of the Los Angeles fires. Since not every teaching pro has a big savings account he'/she can rely on during desperate times of need, we have decided to direct our support activities toward helping racquet sports professionals whose houses or apartment buildings have burnt down to the ground.
Today, we are listing two of those unfortunate individuals.
(1) Brent Pettersson needs help after Altadena Fire destroyed his home
Brent Pettersson | Many of our tennis friends know Brent Pettersson, the founder and CEO of LA Tennis. For over 25 years LA Tennis has managed the tennis operations at many of the top parks, tennis facilities, and clubs in Los Angeles and around the world. |
After Brent's home burned to the ground in the Altadena fire last week, one of his coaches, Eric Carjan, set up a GoFundMe page for him.
Please consider donating if you have a little money to spare. Click the button below and read the story.
(2) Sunny Bahal needs help after the same Altadena Fire destroyed his home, too
Sunny Bahal | Everyone in the Pasadena/ Altadena/Arcadia/Glendale area knows Coach Sunny. See his website tennislessonsla.com. I watched Sunny last week giving a lesson to a beginner student and was so impressed, that I decided to make him part of our new “Partner-Driven Referral Network” for the best racquet sports coaches. |
Sunny will get additional business from our network, but first, he has to get back on his feet, and he won’t know whether his tennis courts are even there anymore.
This afternoon, I will deliver some clothes to Sunny, who is temporarily living with his cousin right now. He has set up a Venmo account if you care to send a donation his way: Please use
